I contracted with Emil to replace some siding and windows. This contract also included painting and some gutter replacement. The work needing to be done was quite extensive as my home is over 30 years old.
When he came and did the estimate he suggested some additional upgrades that were within my budget. His estimate included labor and materials and the additional work (some I added to his list). We both agreed that there would be no surprise costs and Emil stuck to that agreement.
Emil is professional in every way and when I needed some additional work that he felt he was not able to do, he recommended someone from his network of additional experienced professionals who came in and completed a quality job as well.
All work was completed as estimated and it was a done at a fair price. I am planning some follow-up home repair work and I expect to use him again for those repairs.

Emil is a rare find in today’s home improvement world. He is a skilled craftsman and expert painter who really goes the extra mile to please his customers while delivering good value for their investment. My wife and I have very high quality expectations and often struggle finding anyone who can deliver what we desire. We hired Emil to accomplish some tricky exterior enhancements and repairs and to stain and paint our home.
Emil is easy to interact with, reliable, and readily embraces and resolves all the nuances and complications of projects as they unfolded. Our home over the years had been stained multiple times with an oil-based stain that is no longer available or desirable. Emil worked with us to find the best modern stain that preserved our natural wood appearance while providing far superior coverage and durability and complemented that with a great trim paint. His application methods and skills were time and labor efficient while still handling the challenges of the deep grain of natural cedar siding. He pointed out a few areas where previous painters minimizing their efforts had stained some of our cedar trim as siding and asked if that was our desire as he felt all trim should match. Following his instincts, our home now looks much more stylish. It is great to have the benefit of his expertise.
Emil thinks well on his feet and is very willing to talk through solutions, make recommendations, and arrive at the best alternatives.
